The Great California ShakeOut
Major earthquakes may happen anywhere you work, live, or travel in California. The Great California ShakeOut is our chance to practice together how to protect ourselves, and for everyone to become prepared. The goal is to save lives and prevent disasters from becoming catastrophes.

UCR is urging you to participate along with fellow students, faculty and staff, and millions of other Californians in what will be the largest earthquake drill in history! Classroom, office space, outdoors, it doesn’t matter. You can Drop, Cover, and Hold On anywhere you are!
