First Aid Kit

The California Occupational Safety & Health Administration (8 CCR §3400) regulation requires a physician approval regarding contents of a first aid kit for campus employees. On 02/23/11 campus Chief Physician, Dr. Charles Maletz, approved the following first aid kit contents as minimum requirements. These contents may be stocked through the Storehouse (stock # 57500-110).

If you are working with materials that have a greater hazard, you also need to stock the recognized first aid materials for that hazard. for example when using HF (hydrofluoric acid) you need calcium gluconate lotion.
