Building Supervisor for Emergency Conditions (BSEC)
BSECs are staff members from major campus buildings who serve as the lead for all emergency program activities. All major campus buildings will have one primary BSEC and al least one alternate.
What does a BSEC do?
Coordinate and manage their building’s emergency preparedness activities, participate in training, encourage departments to complete Department Emergency Operations Plans (DEOPs), initiate roll call of building occupants in the Emergency Assembly Area (EAA), and provide information to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and satellites in an emergency.
